We are a health provider that specialises in personalised care for people that have sustained a brain injury. We are looking for additional Support Workers in the Wimborne area. If you are reliable, empathetic, patient and have good communication skills we want to hear from you.

This is a part-time or bank vacancy with shifts available on alternating Thursdays and Saturdays from 7:30am to 23:45pm. There will also be the chance to pick up extra shifts to help with annual leave and sickness cover. The rate of pay ranges from £9.37 to £11.08 per hour. We also pay for your mileage (to, from and during shift), as well as any personal protection equipment you may need.

We offer all our support workers a free enhanced DBS check, 25 days of paid annual holiday, and a pension scheme. You will have 24/7 contact with the office staff including managers and coordinators through our On-Call system, as well as regular supervisions and appraisals. We are a very receptive team with an open-door policy, and our aim is to ensure that you feel safe and happy doing your job. We will also provide you with extensive paid training, accredited Care Certificate, as well as specialist nurse led approach for clinical needs.

About the Client

You will be working as part of the team that supports a young man who lives independently in his family's farm in the area of Wimborne. Although his recovery has been great, he still struggles with fatigue and mobility issues, so you will be supporting him to engage in physical activities such a going to the gym and cycling which he enjoys. You will also help with all daily activities.

The right candidate must be passionate and proactive to make a difference in this young man's life, to encourage his rehabilitation and see him grow to his full potential. Due to his mobility restrictions, successful candidates must be able to drive.
