Team Brain Injury Support are looking for additional night support workers to work with someone that we support within the Chichester area.

This role will involve waking night shifts within this person’s home. We are currently looking for bank staff to cover sickness, holidays and odd shifts. We support this individual Monday to Friday as well as Sundays. The nights shift starts from 10pm and finishes at 9:30 am.

The person we support needs support with their manual handling (track hoist), personal and clinical care. There are also 2 cats within the property. To be successful in your application for this role it is essential that applicants are able to drive with access to a vehicle.

Rates of pay start at

  • £10.78 Monday - Friday / £11.24 Saturday / £12.18 Sunday Waking Night Rate.

Suitable candidates will need to have a minimum of 6 months experience, be able to provide suitable references and be able to obtain a suitable DBS, which will be supplied free of charge.

You will be

  • Supporting people in their rehabilitation and actively participating in this process with them
  • Help to organise daily activities in order to facilitate independence
  • Interact in a comprehensive and professional manner with other support staff
  • Identify and communicate observations as well as changes with the person we are supporting
  • Administering medication
  • Always putting the needs and rights of the people we support first.
