Testimonials from Case Workers

"My experience of working with Team Brain Injury has been positive.  I have a client with a severe brain injury for whom it was felt would benefit from the input of a Support Worker to increase social activities and functional skills.  Team Brain Injury were able to provide a suitably qualified Support Worker which has been successful and who continues to work with my client.  The manager from Team Brain Injury has provided valuable input within review meetings and provided support for the Support Worker."

"Head-First believes that Team have an excellent service. They respond flexibly, efficiently and quickly to deal with queries or issues that arise within complex care regimes and, as their support workers have training specific to the needs of brain injury, this reduces the likelihood of problems arising"

Jo Clark-Wilson, Head-First.

Team Brain has provided support for some of my clients for the past year. I have been impressed with the quality of staff, levels of communication and consistency of approach from Team Brain as a company. All of my clients are particularly vulnerable and knowing that I can rely upon the quality of support is very reassuring

Testimonials from Support Workers

"I started with team in March 2009. They spent time to match me with service users that they felt I could support and work with effectively. Team hold regular supervisions with me to discuss my clients, the support I give them and to identify any support or development needs.  I am able to request a supervision if I feel the need to. I am now enrolled on the NVQ 3.I have received fantastic guidance and support from the management team, especially when supporting clients with challenging needs. Managers have made regular calls to me, while on shift, to encourage me and give me clear advice. They even make themselves available by phone throughout my 24 hour shifts.  I know that if I need to, I can call to speak to someone at any time, 7 days a week. I am enjoying my Job with Team and hope to continue to develop in my role as a Support Worker."

Naomi Wreford - Team Brain Injury, support worker

"Since the start with Team Brain Injury Support, I knew I made the right decision. I am currently studying at the University of Southampton and have always had a very strong interest in acquired brain injury rehabilitation. I get so much satisfaction in enhancing individual client quality of life and supporting them to reach their full potential and promote independence. The role can be challenging, but I would not have it any other way as the rewards of the role out weigh these challenges and the support network of the team is excellent and reassuring. The training offered and study opportunities are endless and very positive, which continues to improve my own knowledge and skills in acquired brain injury to give the best outcome possible to every client I am placed with."

Christine Lamb (Brain Injury Support Worker)

"I've been working now for Team for 2 Years, there is always work available and always the chance to work with a diverse range of people.
I've worked for a few different agencies in the past and you really get the feeling of professionalism with TEAM. They are very strict on making sure that their staff are up to date with all the training required. They run very good in house training courses and its good to know that you are working for a responsible company.
Whenever I have had problems with a client or even personal problems, Team have always been able to offer me really good support and advice. It makes my job easier knowing that I have their support just a phone call away. Team makes me feel valued and provide me with regular appraisals and feedback. I have never woken up and thought I don't want to go to work today and TEAM are a big part of that!"

Aidan Payne (Brain Injury Support Worker)

There once was a company called TEAM,
Helping Brain Injured people to dream,
With the best of support,
Whose tact and rapport,
Made those dreams less far of than they seemed.
