Advanced Brain Injury Course

Pre-requisites

Candidates to have completed introductory course and to have been working with Clients for 6 months minimum.

Overview

• This course is designed for experienced Brain Injury Support Workers.
• Examine specific rehabilitation programmes and techniques.
• Look at effective communication and observation
• Reflect on brain injury and behavioural changes
• Maintenance of professional boundaries
• Effective reporting of work

Again this course uses a mixture of workshops and exercises to lead the candidate through the more complex issues surrounding Brain Injury.
